FRES appoints Coen de Ronde as Managing Director

The Board of Foundation Rural Energy Services (FRES) has appointed Coen de Ronde to succeed Caroline Nijland per 15 May.

Nijland fulfilled the position of Managing Director for over 11 years. Under the leadership of Caroline Nijland, the FRES organisation was considerably professionalised and able to expand its activities in Africa. Her successor, Coen de Ronde, is extremely motivated to continue building on FRES’ mission. Previously, he was a member of the Supervisory Board of NuRa, the FRES company in South Africa.
