Minigrid for 300 households and businesses in Béléko

In April 2021 a brand new minigrid serving around 300 customers in village of Fakola was put into service, providing access to renewable energy for 1,500 beneficiaries. The minigrid also powers a village lighting network benefitting the whole community.

FRES monitors asset utilization and energy use for each of its minigrids for internal monitoring purposes. It is currently transforming its monitoring and evaluation practice to make the impact data publicly accessible via its website from 2022 onwards.
